Terms of Service
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of GamerGuard’s websites, apps, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using GamerGuard, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Who may use GamerGuard
The parent/guardian account is intended for adults who manage family devices. You must have authority to configure parental controls on any child device you link. You are responsible for the accuracy of account information and for activity under your account.
The Service
GamerGuard helps families set gaming time limits, schedules, locks, missions/rewards, and related parental controls. Features may differ by platform (iOS, Android, web) and plan (Starter vs paid). On iOS, enforcement depends on Apple Screen Time / Family Controls permissions you grant. On Android, enforcement depends on usage-access and related permissions you grant.
We aim for reliable enforcement, but device OS rules, permission changes, uninstall attempts, network conditions, and platform limitations can affect results. GamerGuard is not a substitute for parental supervision.
Accounts & acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt our systems
- Impersonate others or create accounts for deceptive purposes
- Use GamerGuard in ways that violate applicable law
- Reverse engineer or abuse APIs beyond normal product use
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Subscriptions & billing
Some features require a paid plan. Prices and plan details are shown on our pricing page and at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew until canceled. Fees may be processed by third-party payment providers. Taxes may apply. Except where required by law or stated otherwise at purchase, payments are non-refundable.
Family content & responsibility
You are responsible for how you configure limits, who you invite as co-parents, and how child devices are used. Do not use GamerGuard to harass, unlawfully monitor, or harm others. You must comply with Apple, Google, and other platform rules that apply to parental-control apps on devices you manage.
Intellectual property
GamerGuard and its branding, software, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal/family parental-control purposes while these Terms remain in effect.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted enforcement, complete blocking of all apps/games, or that the Service will meet every family’s needs.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GAMERGUARD AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR $50 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID).
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may modify or discontinue features, or suspend/terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we must do so for security or legal reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers and liability limits) will survive termination.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
